Fay Ruby

Fay was born in Asheville, North Carolina, and grew up as a military brat. Her father retired from the U.S. Navy as a Chief Warrant Officer 2 (CW02) when she was young, and she was raised in Summerville, South Carolina.

After graduating from Stratford High School, Fay began her career as a licensed cosmetologist, a profession she enjoyed for more than 20 years. She later decided to pursue a new path in the legal field. In 2015, she earned an Associate of Science degree from Trident Technical College through its ABA-approved Paralegal Program.

Fay has experience in several areas of law, including probate, employment and wrongful termination, Social Security disability, family law, personal injury, and her personal favorite, workers’ compensation law.

Her motto is, “Stay positive, work hard, and make it happen.” This philosophy is reflected in her daily work and dedication to our office.

Outside of work, Fay enjoys attending her husband’s band performances, relaxing at the beach, and spending time on the water in her kayak.
