Sarah Kate was born and raised in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. After graduating from Wando High School, she began her career in customer service before transitioning into the legal field.
Her first exposure to the legal profession came through court reporting in Anderson, South Carolina. After spending several years in the Upstate, Sarah Kate returned to Charleston and joined a local law firm, where she began as a receptionist. Through her dedication and strong work ethic, she advanced to litigation assistant and later found her niche in intake operations, where she excelled at guiding and supporting clients. She ultimately became a personal injury case manager before joining our team in 2023 as our criminal defense paralegal.

Sarah Kate comes from a family with deep roots in both commercial fishing and law enforcement. She grew up on the waters of Shem Creek and the Intracoastal Waterway, spending time crabbing and fishing alongside her father, a local commercial fisherman. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Patrick, and their two dogs.
